Bass-Panduri was created in last century. As we know, Classic panduri origins from the folk panduri and at the same time there appeared need for creating musical instrument having low registry (tonality), as bas-guitar for concert performances.
So, there was created bigger instrument like panduri called Bass-panduri. The making technology and materials are same as for panduri. It is cut out from the whole core of wood, or the instrument body is glued part by part, by attaching thin wooden plates together.
The Bass-Panduri is played with accompaniment with other instruments in the ensemble. Tuning of Bas-Panduri from down - A, E, B.
